@pauladams – the proposed scrapping of the debit card is good news & tap to pay is already £1000 via Apple pay. What would be useful is a self-managed daily limit, and max transaction limit to help prevent fraud, like skimming etc. That way if I need to I can raise the limit for a day, or two, or set an upper limit for the day/week. Why it’s…

All Members 10 months agoMonday Accelerator – Weekly Recap
We kicked things off with personal check-ins before diving into business challenges and growth blockers. A big theme was around time management and the habit of spending too much energy on people who aren’t the right fit. The group explored how setting boundaries and charging appropriately — even if offering a…

Good discussion this morning around what assets you can produce to aid your sales process. Something like a guide or simple structured payment tiers that may take you a few hours to produce but will save you constantly having to repeat or explain yourself to prospects.
Typically, designers are very good at over complicating pricing (I know I…

All Members 10 months agoI’m finalising a guide to stepping off the PAYE work treadmill and becoming self-employed.
Anyone got any small or useful hints, tips, surprising things (good and bad) or other insights into Self-Employment? What surprised you? What frsutrated you? Doesn’t have to be long, can be one word e.g. “TAX!” but, what one thing would you tell…

A few from me as someone who has been through the process in the last year:
– It’s not what you know but who you know so build up your networks.
– Start as a side hustle, it may be that that’s what it remains.
– Trust the process (easier said than done) 😀

Getting a new routine will look different for everyone but for me, it’s simple things like having a dedicated work space, ‘getting dressed’ (i.e.…

All Members 10 months agoJust a heads up that tomorrow I have my next Branding Open Session at 9am
If your brand is still a megaphone shouting features, you’ll simply struggle to attract customers rather than build loyalty.
So many brands blend into a sea of sameness with inconsistent experiences that erode trust, and a lack of genuine participation.
The brands that win,…
