I was asked an interesting question the other day, which I thought I would ask you lot on here.
If you were able to speak to the 12-year-old you, what would your younger self think of all the achievements you’ve made up to the present…

Sounds like a good achievement! Perhaps high chance perhaps that a a design related career beckoned for me but I think like you probably would have been more along the art side. Would have been gutted to not have played professional football. There’s still time I guess.

All Members a year agoJust done the Alton 10 road race – sub 2 hours, the time doesn’t matter. What I am taking from this is I can run a ten mile road race without a considered training plan. Having run a half marathon earlier this year, I’d rather been beset by injury and work commitments. Nice to know that the fitness hasn’t slipped too far!

Hi Stuart – nice one! would love to do that one. I haven’t really done a race for ages but keep meaning to try a park run. Broxhead common is a nice one near me, bit hilly. Thought could do with any tips on avoid calf muscle stiffening up half way though…bit of a mystery, doing all the warm up I can think of.

Well done Stu! I run an occasional gentle 5 k around Farnham park. couple of big hills, it’s enough for me. Mostly I hike. Im very impressed with your 10 k!
