Just done the Alton 10 road race – sub 2 hours, the time doesn’t matter. What I am taking from this is I can run a ten mile road race without a considered training plan. Having run a half marathon earlier this year, I’d rather been beset by injury and work commitments. Nice to know that the fitness hasn’t slipped too far!

Hi Stuart – nice one! would love to do that one. I haven’t really done a race for ages but keep meaning to try a park run. Broxhead common is a nice one near me, bit hilly. Thought could do with any tips on avoid calf muscle stiffening up half way though…bit of a mystery, doing all the warm up I can think of.

@robfryer-brandstorm @matthewlaakvand – Found the white pen comparison chart I mentioned a week or so back, maybe couple of weeks ago? USeful to see them all tested and what they look like in opacity and thickness all next to each other. Not mine, found online (maybe Reddit?) but couldn’t remember/find the URL.
