Fridays Event at the Planetarium
Hi All
I just wanted to thank the Signal Bizhub Team for a fantastic event on Friday. It was over way too fast and I’d have happily stayed for another couple of hours.
I would also like to thank everyone for (and in unison) wishing me a happy birthday.
Do you know what, what better way of spending your 50th than with a group of new friends!

So, before I took a “back step” in my professional Life. I was shameless at networking a room. admittedly, I turned up late and was sort of preoccupied in the day itself for birthday reasons, but the sales monster in me said “Shake everyone’s hand and find Babies to kiss”. Yes, my sales style might represent more of a senator than some Precision Engineer tech guy, but it’s hard wired!. I am also Very very dialled back in my older age, but that 25 year old “takeover merchant” is always fighting to get out.
If there is anyone out there who might be interested, who would like to do a sales workshop or help with cold calling or client profile mapping, I’m up for doing one on one or group workshops.
Also, we can repeat them if you want? I was planning to do a post on this, and very happy to actually spend time with people. I have been looking for a CTO mentor for some time and understand how really difficult it is to find someone who is genuine and who offers. opinion free help. Sometimes you just want the objective facts to lean against when growing something.
This is something I have done in the past, and can do it in both in an engineering setting (more specialised) and sales/business case proposition if needed.
All I would ask initially is one thing, Commitment! and that includes, open to be committed, open to be willing and open to wining!. The last is the most difficult for most people and organisations.
