Thank you for the welcome! After 20 years undertaking all aspects of recruitment in the corporate world, i’m now setting up my own business to enable SME’s to undertake their own recruitment more effectively, efficiently and without a reliance on expensive recruitment agencies/ headhunters!
I would do this by undertaking a full review of a business to understand them as a business as well as their goals, challenges, reputation, recruitment process etc and then work with them to give the tools, templates, training, understanding and knowledge to enable them to confidently recruit in a more self sufficient and effective way.
I plan to offer everything from a high level overview with some simple suggestions or a more in depth service looking at aspects such as increasing diversity, creating an EVP, creating and negotiating an agency preferred supplier list, sourcing and setting up an ATS (applicant tracing system) or implementing a psychometric assessment process.
Recruitment isn’t rocket science but there are a number of aspects that can put a business at risk if not done properly (e.g. if you are using excel for your recruitment then you may be at risk!!) or ethically and doing it properly is a passion of mine so I decided to turn my passion into a business!
I’m here for any advice, feedback, knowledge etc as I don’t really know where to start but also happy to support other people!
