I’m Ella — co-founder of Vyse Arks and someone who loves coffee perhaps a little too much. Seriously, my dream is to one day have my own coffee cart on site at work so I can serve the best coffee to everyone who visits us!

When I’m not working — which honestly isn’t that often, because I genuinely love what I do — you’ll find me walking, swimming in the sea, reading, climbing or playing and watching cricket. I love most sports, I love the outdoors and I love animals more than I can properly put into words. My chocolate Labrador is the most wonderful being, and time with family and friends brings me loads of joy.

I live in Winchester, which is a cool place to be. My idea of perfect peace is sitting on a beach, reading, just chilling by the water with my Lab. I find something deeply calming about water — a lake, a river, the sea — anywhere will do!

I’m also a devoted vegetarian and Jane Austen fan which, living in Hampshire, feels entirely appropriate. And when I’m not outdoors or on the sofa watching a Marvel movie or a Lord of the Rings film for the hundredth time, I’m most likely at the cinema — ideally Everyman, coffee in hand, sweet popcorn at the ready, sinking into one of those sofas. Bliss. I only wish you could take your dog…

Nature and animals are a huge passion. One of my biggest long term goals is to do more and more for animal charities and welfare organisations through the business.

Mentally tired is a permanent state — but I’m sure that’s the same for all new business owners! 😊
