• Hello Signalbizhub members. I enjoyed meeting more bizhubbers this morning at the online networking event. The breakout sessions were fun, listening to people doing an ‘elevator’ pitch about their business, and talking about events that helped spark ideas. Great to meet other small business owners. As Hannah Logan put it, at Signalbizhub, we’re here to befriend, help and support each other. I love this take on networking! I look forward to meeting up with more of you in due course. Apart from my business in publishing, my other passions are good food, growing food, permaculture, biodiversity and plants — should you need gardening advice, I am a (retired) garden designer and would be very happy to offer free advice. I also sit on a cache of beautiful original art, my deceased sister’s work. Should anyone be in the market for something ‘nice’ on the wall, I would be very happy to help you. Prices are very low — I am trying to find new homes for the artworks. Please see my LinkedIn account or contact me directly for more information. Enjoy your week!

        • @lisawoolnough Many thanks, Lisa. I think having had 3 children and having to work around their needs with a mostly absence partner makes one inventive in exploring various ways to be self-employed. 🙂

        • Thanks @annelize . It was fab, wasn’t it! I’ll defo talk to you about my daughters book too!

          • @hannah Thanks, Hannah. I did check out a half-way meeting points for us: 3 Horsehoes in Thursley (beautiful views), open Weds to Fri from 12 to 3 pm; another option is Secretts in Milford, all day. I look forward to chatting! Enjoy your weekend. Annelize

          • HI Annelize thanks for this, I’m so glad you are enjoying your experience here on My BiZHUB. I’ll take a look at your Linked In

          • @annelize lovely to see you on Wednesday – I do have a gardening question about an apple tree, it’s a bit dense and seems to be quite “bushy”. Any tips on where to find some useful pruning guidance for an apple tree?

            • @stu Hi Stu, great to hear from you! Apple trees are best pruned in the winter, Nov to Feb. As an RHS member, I always refer to them, as they are the specialists. This is the link to an excellent bit of advice on how to do apple tree pruning: rhs.org.uk/fruit/apples/winter-pruning

              All best, Annelize
