Hi, I’m Matt, a senior web developer based in Devon and the founder of Harbour Labs, a Shopify development studio.

I’ve been building for the web for 13 years, 8 of those in agencies and 5 in-house for a large online sports retailer, before specialising in Shopify five years ago. Most recently I was a developer at Eastside Co, one of the UK’s leading Shopify agencies, working with established retail and D2C brands. In 2026 I left to run my own company full time.

Day to day I help ecommerce businesses build new features, fix what’s broken, and keep their stores fast, stable and selling, from one-off projects to ongoing monthly support. Everything is scoped and priced in writing before work starts, and you deal directly with the person doing the work.
