I am grateful my first publication, Patchwork Poems and other Verses by Mary Blackwell, is doing well. It’s a first-time publication by Mary, great grandma, age 87. (The 104-page poetry book is available at Art & Grind, Guildford).

I have previously worked as a book editor for Nexus Media Publications, but this is the first time I have compiled, edited and published a book. It was quite a learning curve, and I am pleased to have pulled it off.

I hope to write and publish memoirs and make voice recordings of the elderly telling their life stories, use their photos and voice recordings to make videos (with the help of my sons) to be shown at funerals. This would be so much better than just a pps of photos with no captions!

I look forward to meeting fellow business hubsters in due course!
