• I would like to share my traumatic day with you, and I bet you’ll have a good laugh…

This morning I managed to miss turning up to lead one of my health walks. I have a long story to tell…

I have had a most traumatic morning, what with our brand new adopted cat escaping this morning and my son blithely telling me he had to get to work. I ended up chasing the bl cat around the neighbourhood, in and out and around various peoples’ gardens, eventually had him cornered, grabbed him, and he fairly ‘shredded’ me! Face, neck, arms, even tummy. Got the monster home, bleeding.

      As background, a further complication…

I have been chasing various printers to get the final proof printed of my latest book. My usual had landed up in hospital (honestly, not my doing!); 2 other printers I use had broken printers…

Finally yesterday afternoon I had found another Guildford printer… sent the pdf files over.

I had just got home, then got a call, (whilst mopping up blood), from this printer saying I had to come to them pronto to make sure they’re printing the proof correctly. (I had to get this done asap as I was meeting the author later to get the final proof signed off).

They ended up not being able to print the book!

I then rushed to Farnham to get it done in time by another printer.

      It’s been quite a day…

Must say, I chose a good morning not to lead the walk 😀 as it was bucketing down.

I hope your day was less stressful.

      • I thought this story was going to end up with it being the wrong cat! Hope you have a better day today. I was stuck at home trying to work yesterday (my daughter was unwell) during a planned all day power cut for tree cutting! If only it wasn’t raining I could have spent the day in the garden!
