• Monday Accelerator Recap

This week’s Accelerator opened with reflections on recent events — including the Women’s Business Award final and an Oktoberfest gathering — and a useful conversation about communication and logistics at events. The group explored horizon-scanning techniques and discussed the upcoming Autumn Statement, expressing healthy scepticism about government efficiency and the need for substantive policy change.

Discussion also covered market trends and proactive strategies for businesses, the importance of staying informed without panic, and practical approaches to breaking big problems into manageable steps. Members highlighted engaging with AI and responsible use, and agreed on clearer meeting recording markers and a resources area for sharing useful tools. The session included planning for My BiZHUB positioning and methodology development, with an emphasis on long-term perspective and practical support for established businesses.

It was a great turnout and a focused, collaborative session full of practical ideas to take into the week ahead.

👉 Coming up: Full BiZHUB online networking on 5 November.
