• Annual review

Anyone do a personal annual review? Gains, losses and the various things you wanna do more of, less of, change etc. Not really resolutions, more directions of travel?

Or do you do a continual rolling assessment and course correct as you go, no real direction of travel, more ensuring momentum and at least not remaining stuck is the answer?

Been mulling mindset and headspace recently, having had a couple of mentees struggling with tis very concpet, grasping where they are on the great sea of commerce. I can feel like being stuck on a small boat being otssed by a raging ocean. That’s why strength in mumbers matters, stick together and weather the storms that are-a-coming.

Whatever you do to chart your course I hope 2026 doesn’t blow you off your direction of travel or change your planned goals.

      Here’s to lots of opportunity!

      • The end of 2025 / start of 2026 has been a big reset for me anyway – new job, new home, new direction, new motivation – Feels less about having a perfect map and more about not drifting, keeping momentum, and staying connected.

I have been continually rolling assessment / making it up as go is best for me. Strength in numbers definitely matters, in moderation.

Hope that we can connect in person again soon

        • Around this time each year I do look back at the year before and look at what we could do better, do more of or change in the year ahead. Just being aware gives you a psychological direction I find.

I have had quite a big shift in focus for this year after a bit of reviewing where we are at toward the end of last year. I have scaled back on the number of services we offer to just one core service offer. There’s no perfect plan just yet but it has made for a much clearer focus for this year.

I also agree with the strength in numbers. I wouldn’t have got there without having plenty of people around me to lean on. Just being able arrange a coffee or a Friday beer with someone to mull things over with is gold. Most of those have been with members form right here in the SiGNAL community, so lean in people – who are you gonna arrange a coffee or beer with this month!! (mines an ale if you fancy a chat btw 😉🤣🍺)
