🎉 Welcome to Friday Wins! 🎉
We’re introducing something new on My BiZHUB—a chance to end each week by celebrating the positives.
One of the things we’ve always loved doing at our Friday BiZHUB networking sessions is taking a moment to celebrate our wins.
At last week’s networking event at BOSC, we went around the room asking everyone to share something positive from their week. It didn’t matter whether it was a business win or a personal one, big or small, every single win deserved to be recognised.
As business owners, we spend so much time chasing the next task, solving the next problem and working through an endless to-do list that we rarely stop to acknowledge how far we’ve come.
And for many of us, we don’t have a team around us to celebrate those moments. They can easily pass by unnoticed.
So let’s change that.
👇 We’d love to hear your Friday Win.
It could be:
✨ A new customer or contract
✨ Launching a new product or service
✨ Finally ticking off that job you’ve been putting off
✨ Receiving some great feedback
✨ Hitting a personal goal
✨ Or simply making it through a challenging week!Whatever it is, we’d love you to share it below. Let’s celebrate each other, cheer one another on, and finish the week on a positive note.
I’ll kick us off…
✅ My Friday Win: After months of planning and organising, I’ve now secured the venues for the next nine months of BiZHUB Roadshow events! 🎉
There are still plenty of details to work through, but having the dates and venues almost completely locked in feels like a huge milestone. I’m really looking forward to bringing our business community together across Hampshire and beyond over the coming months.
Now it’s your turn…
What’s your Friday Win? 👇

Exciting win there, Claire – well done. What a feeling! I’m celebrating persuading a new client to put their heads above the parapet for the first time with a press release responding to the recent Ockenden and Amos reports on maternity services. With such a sensitive subject, it can be daunting to make your case to the media when it seems easier (and safer!) to keep quiet.

@christinareal-word-com that sounds like something that needs to be written carefully, do you do a lot of political / puplic service type responses?

@signal-emma I’ve been involved in several fairly sensitive comms situations, including working for Berkshire Public Health during Covid-19 and working with breast-operated women for my client, Amoena, the global leader in breast care. The political side has definitely come in during my time at Hampshire County Council (objections to construction projects which went all the way to the Supreme Court!) and of course the Covid-19 work.

That’s a brilliant win, Christina – congratulations! 👏
It takes real confidence to help a client step forward and contribute to such an important conversation, especially on a topic as sensitive as maternity services. Supporting them to find their voice and share it publicly is a huge achievement.
Wishing you and your client every success with the press release, and thank you for sharing your Friday Win with us! 😊1 -
This is very timely as literally just got off the phone to secure an initial 3 month fractional contract with a new tech startup from a referral.
I have been developing a referral partner programme and this is the second one that has come through because of it over the past month or so. The referrer will be very happy with the news as it strengthens their relationship with the client (and gives them a nice little bonus from us too).
Exciting news about the roadshows Claire, cant wait till the first one.

@robfryer-brandstorm That’s a fantastic win, Rob – well done! 🎉
It’s great to see your referral partner programme already paying off. It just goes to show that investing time in building strong relationships really does make a difference. Even better that it’s a win-win for everyone involved, your new client, your referral partner and, of course, you!
Congratulations on securing the contract, and thank you for the lovely comment about the Roadshows. I’m really looking forward to getting the first one underway too – it’s been a lot of work behind the scenes, so it’s exciting to see it all coming together! 😊 -
@robfryer-brandstorm how exciting! Well done, well deserved

✅ My Friday Win: OK, so it is Monday – but we had a great chat with @chrisb about how BOC/NIW can support HCC and other Growth Hubs, nice to see how we can offer our insights and the conversation continues.

I’ve has a few wins recently, one of which is an author called Jessica A. Williams. Jessica was introduced to me by @gdavies (Who I still need to send a thank you gift to. Eek! Not forgotten @gdavies I plan to bring it along to the roadshow event). Lovely project, which I am working on right now. I have a plan to create a website which is more like an experience of the universe Jessica is creating in her novels, while weaving in a Shopify aspect to it. And later a community platform
