| About me |
At heart, I am a storyteller. I have been working as a communications professional since 1997, when I began my career in California’s Silicon Valley. Since then, I have worked with businesses, charities and social impact organisations of all shapes and sizes – from early-stage start-ups to established B2B technology, manufacturing and professional services companies. In 2015, I founded Parker Robinson Communications to work directly with organisations that want to make a positive impact.
I believe in the power of stories to build trust, open doors and drive real change. I work closely with clients to help them uncover and define their unique stories, communicating them in ways that are compelling, credible and human. Over the years, I have planned, developed and delivered thought leadership-driven communications strategies and campaigns that raise awareness and position my clients as respected voices in their fields.
One of my particular strengths is making complex or technical ideas more accessible, translating specialist knowledge into clear, engaging content that resonates with broader audiences without losing its credibility. I work regularly with B2B clients to develop thought leadership pieces, cases studies and whitepapers that speak to those they most want to reach and influence.
I also act as a sounding board, working alongside clients to develop communication strategies that align with their wider vision and goals. A big part of this is understanding the people they most want to reach – what drives them, what keeps them up at night, and how my clients can best support them.
What I have found, consistently, is that the best results come from effective collaboration: working with the right people to tell the right story, to the right audiences, through the right channels, at the right time
