The StuDio - WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS - Share your workspace
We’re coming up to another great Roadshow at the Winchester Science Center and Planetarium, which is going to be so awesome! I’ve performed in some crazy places (Madame Tussauds, Goonhilly Down, and Wembley!) but never in a planetarium, and to paraphrase Pokemon, you gotta get ’em all!
I am especially looking forward to it after achieving a huge win, and that was reclaiming the StuDio, which as the title says, is where the magic happens… But recently we’ve been hard pished to find a hat, let alone pull a rabbit out of it. So a tidy-up was needed…
After a mammoth, three week binge of reorganisation, cleaning, tidying, repurposing, recycling and considered review of every single piece of paper and item in my office, I have finally completed my goal of updating the StuDio. Here’s my desk, and broadcast set-up, it’s still got some upgrades to go – but I am very happy with the clarity with which I charge into Q4!
Lot of emotional sorting out too as the StuDio had become a bit of a store of my parents personal effects, and the karmic klutter was also weighing heavy. So it has been very cathartic to say the least, finally filing away all the papers, and items to cherish. Racking is in, filing is done… If you like a bit of “filing p*o*r*n*” (as my google searches discovered was a thing, don’t ask, do not ask… OK, you asked, I misspelled an Ikea organising thing, and ended up, well where I ended up is neither here nor there, but I the Ikea catalogue will never be the same again…)
So now it’s all go go go, with a clear space, clear head and entirely better vibe in the StuDio which is going to be producing more NeuroInclusive Workspace and Business Oddcast content from @Hannah and I so keep an eye on our group here: https://members.signalbizhub.co.uk/groups/the-neuroinclusive-workplace/
